Value of Irish Pension Funds Reaches €72b

The Irish Association of Pension
Funds (IAPF) recently carried out a survey in relation to the
value of Irish Pension Funds.
It found that the value of pension
funds in Ireland at 31 December 2009 amounted to €72b of which
67.1% represented defined benefit assets and the balance of 32.9%
represented defined contribution and additional voluntary
contribution assets.
