Pillar 3 Disclosures
APT Financial Services Limited is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland as an investment firm under the European Communities (Market in Financial Instruments) Regulations 2007. As a MiFID Investment firm, APT Financial Services Limited is required to calculate its capital requirement in accordance with the criteria outlined in the Capital Requirements Directive (CRD). APT Financial Services Limited complies with the minimum capital requirement provisions under Pillar 1 of the CRD and completes and maintains its Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) under Pillar 2 of the CRD. The aim of Pillar 3 is to improve market discipline by requiring firms to publish certain details of their risks, capital and risk management. The Pillar 3 Disclosures have been prepared as at 31 December 2015, which is the firm’s latest financial year end.
